Created in 1978, Silimed is a Brazilian company that has the biggest and diversified silicone prosthesis for surgery of the market. It is first in sales in Brasil and third in the world.
Silimed has been growing as a reputable company of silicone implants, however their branding did not reflect the changes and evolution. It was outdated, confusing and didn't show the advanced technology, beautiful aesthetic and science associated with the brand.
The company didn't have a developed identity, just the logotype. Therefore, I was able to create a graphic pattern with the logo icon. This structure brings the idea of a construction and a perspective perception. The infinite ways that this pattern can be built makes the layout interesting and dynamic.
The logo did not change much. We just decided to add a light to add volume such as implants do and also changed the color. A tagline created by Mariana Silva - "passion inspiring science" - was also integrated into the logo.
The previous color was an orangish brown, which was one of the aspects that made the brand look outdated. Thus we decided to bring the color to a bright salmon in order to be more soft, feminine and updated. In addition, we added three other colors in the same tone to differentiate the implant groups. Every detail was thought to convey the balance of humanity and technology.
All the changes in Silimed's branding was shown in a international conference for stakeholders - Let's grow together. The event was organized by Quest Eventos and MKM Studio. We were in charge of the exhibition stands (project created by Yuri Martins), colors, prints, implant boxes and others.
