Rede D'or Ombudsman

Client

Ouvidoria Rede D'or São José - an organisational ombudsman is a designated neutral or impartial dispute resolution practitioner whose major function is to provide independent, impartial, confidential and informal assistance to managers and employees, clients and/or other stakeholders of a corporation, university, non-governmental organisation, governmental agency or other entity. As an independent and neutral employee, the organisational ombudsman ideally should have no other role or duties. This is in order to maintain independence and neutrality, and to prevent real or perceived conflicts of interest.

Project goals

Ouvidoria Rede D'or São José needed a branding to unify the group, which started to attend to all Rede D'or hospitals. They also needed to communicate this change to all patients, employees and stakeholders.

Creative solution

The Star of Life has traditionally been used as a means of identification for medical personnel, equipment, and vehicles. any ambulance services mark the symbol on their vehicles, and the crew members often have the design on their uniform. The six branches of the star are symbols of the six main tasks executed by rescuers all through the emergency chain: detection, reporting, response, on scene care, care in transit, transfer to definitive care. Therefore I wanted to create a star for Rede D'or Ouvidoria, since they also have their main tasks: ethics, impartiality, transparency, confidentiality, decision power and autonomy.
